Dashcam and information appeal after two cars set alight in “targeted attacks”

North Wales Police have issued an appeal for information and dashcam footage after two vehicles were set alight in Wrexham over the weekend.

At around 2am on Saturday September 8 a car was set alight in Bernard Road – with a second vehicle set alight shortly after in nearby Queensway.

However, police believe the incidents were specifically targeted attacks and are not part of the recent spate of car fires in the area.

DS Anne-Louise Jones Police; “I am appealing to anyone in the Smithfield or Queensway areas of Wrexham at that time who noticed anything suspicious to contact us.

“If anyone driving through the area has dashcam fitted I would ask if they would kindly check their footage to see if anything was captured.”
