Army cadets will be digging for victory in Brynteg in coming weeks.

The Brynteg and Bradley detachments will be planting daffodils in the grounds of the Memorial Hall in Quarry Road.

The work will go towards the Cadet in the community aspect of the army proficiency certificate.

The bulbs, which were donated by Broughton Community Council and B&Q, were presented to the cadets by local councillor Beverley Parry-Jones who organised the distribution of daffodils to community groups in the area.
