The UK’s premier wartime group, The D-Day Darlings, are performing in Wrexham as part of the Coronation Celebrations locally.

They will be presenting their “Coronation Celebration Show” on Sunday 7th May 2023 at the Memorial Hall in what has been described as a “song and dance extravaganza for all generations to enjoy, ending with an explosive finale to bring the show to a glittering climax”.

Tickets are £5 which includes a buffet and ‘firework finale’, doors open at 6:30PM for a 7PM start with fireworks at 10pm.

Note that the long stay area of the Waterworld car park will be closed from 5pm as the fireworks will be set off from there.

The D-Day Darlings were signed to Sony Music UK after reaching the finals in ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. In 2018, their debut album, “I’ll Remember You”, released on 9th Nov 2018 and re-released with 4 New songs for a special VE Day celebration edition on 8th May 2020, charted at number 5 in the official album charts, receiving a Silver Disc award for sales of over 60,000 and is currently on track to receive a Gold disc.

As the best-selling female group to emerge from Britain’s Got Talent, the Darlings received a BRIT Certified Breakthrough Award in 2019 and have since performed alongside a host of celebrities such as Michael Ball and Pixie Lott, appearing on prime time shows for Radio 2, Heart FM, ITV and BBC, with a special performance for members of The Royal Family.
Working with top music producers and songwriters, the Forces’ favourite sweethearts honour heroes with a selection of stunning original songs and reimagined arrangements of popular wartime songs, bringing the sound and sentiment of the era up to date.
