A Crowdfunding Campaign to help raise funds to bring a local man who has been seriously injured on holiday back to Wrexham, has been launched.

The campaign has been launched for Harri Jones who we are told is currently in an induced coma after being injured while on holiday in Kavos.

It is hoped that the campaign will raise enough money to help bring Harri home.

Details on the Crowdfunding page read: “On behalf of all the friends, family and colleagues of Harri Jones this page has been set up in order to raise money to help his parents in their time of need. Harri has recently been involved in an accident in which he was hit by a lorry whilst on a quad.

“He is currently in an induced coma, to stop his brain from swelling, in a hospital in Kavos. He has multiple fractures to his skull and the doctors don’t know if he will be able to see out of one of his eyes again.

“Please donate everything you can no matter how big or small, every penny counts. Thank you in advance for taking your time out to read this and for all of your donations.”

Already almost £1,500 has been raised in donations – with over 70 people pledging support in the past hour.

You can view / donate the crowdfunding campaign for Harri here.

(Thanks to Harri’s friends who brought this to our attention)
