The First Minister has announced that the current total of confirmed coronavirus cases linked to the outbreak in Wrexham stands at 166.

This is an increase on the 106 cases at Rowan Foods on the Wrexham Industrial Estate announced by Finance Minister Rebecca Evans MS at yesterday’s daily briefing.

The factory remains open and operational at this time.

First Minister Drakeford said the outbreaks in Wrexham and Llangefni are a “sobering reminder that coronavirus has not gone away.”

He added that more information will be provided by Public Health Wales at 2pm.
