A litter pick to help bring the community together and help tidy up the streets will take place next month.

The event will take place in the Offa area from 10am on Sunday 5th April.

Katie Henshaw who has organised the event, told Wrexham.com: “As a resident of Offa I am ashamed by the amount of litter in the area.

“I walk my daughter to school daily and we feel saddened by the volume of litter we pass. I want to bring the community together to help tackle the issue and improve the area.

“Both individuals and businesses can get involved by either joining us on the day or donating items such as gloves, bags, litter pickers, high vis vests or even refreshments for the volunteers.”
