Around half seven this evening two cars collided on the junction of the traffic lights on the corners of Chester Road, Grove Road and Penymaes Avenue.  Two ambulances and police cars attended the scene, where a white Nissan Juke had hit the side of a black Mini.

One man, the driver, was slightly injured with a cut chin however both drivers looked ok , but were understandably shaken. An unmarked police car turned up to direct traffic as police took statements from witnesses.

The cars were blocking the road for around 45 minutes, and we would advise avoiding the area if possible.
