Collision Between Tractor and Car in Llay

A car and a tractor have been involved in a collision in Llay this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the collision just off the Straight Mile, near the Crown Inn junction at 1:35pm.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said that the collision involved a tractor and a Corsa.

It is thought a child has been taken to hospital as a precaution, however no one is thought to have been seriously injured as a result of the collision.

There are no major delays in the area as a result of the collision.

A spokesperson for Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at about 1.35pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a tractor on the Straight Mile in Llay.

“A young boy has been taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
