The season of goodwill has come, for one day only, to the Vinci car park under Eagles Meadow who are offering free car parking.

Daniel tweeted us the below, and as with most skeptics we had to check the information out ourselves and took the above picture as proof of the phenomenon. The car park is locally notorious for its pricing structure and enthusiastic application of parking charge deadlines.

We did ask around if there had been a change of ownership, however there is nothing confirmed as of yet. UPDATE: It is TRUE – read all about it here….

Vinci have recently rebranded as Indigo, to make parking more fun and interesting although this has not yet rolled out to Wrexham.

There are ongoing rumours that the car park, that is technically separate from the shopping centre, is due to change hands although this has not been formally confirmed.

The centre itself was sold earlier this year, and despite our story saying it will have a roof added on, that will not be happening.
