The Machine House Restaurant in Rossett have raised £1,500 by hosting a Charity Dinner in aid of Nightingale House Hospice.

The event which was held last month, treated guests to a 4 course meal and a glass of Fizz on arrival.

The staff at the restaurant all volunteered to work the Charity Dinner without pay as it was for a such a worthy local cause, and worked hard to make sure the evening was success.

Patrick Gatenby, Owner of Machine House, said:  “We were delighted to support the Hospice by hosting our first Charity dinner evening here at the Machine House Restaurant in Rossett – it was great fun for all the team and I’m really pleased we raised so much for such a good cause.

“The hospice plays a very important role in the community and is close to members of the team here and to many of our local guests – we look forward to continuing to provide support in the future;  in fact, we’re already running ideas for what’s on the next Charity Menu”.
