Changes to recycling and waste collections over the August bank holiday

Wrexham Council is reminding residents of a series of changes to household waste and recycling collections over the August bank holiday.

Collections will move forward one day up to and including Saturday 2 September 2023.

Changes to collection days

Normal Collection Date: Monday 28 August. Revised Collection Date: Tuesday 29 August

Normal Collection Date: Tuesday 29 August. Revised Collection Date: Wednesday 30 August

Normal Collection Date: Wednesday 30 August. Revised Collection Date: Thursday 31 August

Normal Collection Date: Thursday 31 August. Revised Collection Date: Friday 1 September

Normal Collection Date: Friday 1 September. Revised Collection Date: Saturday 2 September.

Residents are also asked to make sure your waste and recyclables are ready for collection by 7.30 am.

Waste collections will return to normal the following week.
