Celebrations as winners announced for town’s best dressed window competition!

The winners of the town’s best dressed window competition has been announced.

Throughout October businesses were encourage to decorate their store fronts with an autumnal theme.

The window displays brightened up the high street, and brought some autumnal cheer to the town centre.

This week the winners of the competition were announced, with Mayor Rob Walsh’s choice award going to Gerrards on Queens Street. Store manager Michelle Powis accepted the trophy on behalf of the shop.

The people’s choice award went to Snip and Tuck based inside the General Market. The trophy was received by owner Rachel Prince.
