A Lupo car was set alight in Acton last night in what is has been confirmed as arson.

One nearby resident told us that people had been heard running from scene, prompting calls to the emergency services after the fire was discovered with neighbours alerting the householders of the unfolding incident outside.

The fire occurred outside an older couples house, and we are told thankfully there has been no injuries sustained.

Another car was parked close to the one damaged by fire, with the observation made to us: “It is lucky the other car didn’t catch fire otherwise the house would have gone up too”.
