In the early hours of this morning both the police and fire service were called to a suspected car arson in Caia Park.

A spokesperson for the fire service informed us:- “A Wrexham fire crew attended the scene on Tower View, Caia Park shortly after midnight where they dealt with a single car fire.” The car was later found to have 50% engine damage.

We are awaiting further comment from the police.

Earlier on fire crews attended another suspected car arson in Acton.

This incident is the latest in a succession of car arson attacks in the Caia Park area of Wrexham in the last 12-18 months.
