An update has been provides from Pats Coaches regarding the incident on Holt Road telling us that a call was made by the driver to express concern regarding the smell.

“After inspection at the side of the road a small electrical fault in the battery bay caused the smell and fire brigade was called as a precaution and was not required.

“Pats Coaches would like to reassure the coach was empty at the time and it was only a minor defect.”
