A car and bus have collided on Kingsmills Road this afternoon.

Emergency services received a call about the incident at 4:09pm, which has occurred by the junction of Newton Street and Kingsmills Road.

Alisha, who sent us the above picture, told us she was in the nearby chemists when she ‘heard a bang’, and saw a car with damage to its left hand side.

Unofficially we are told there has thankfully been no injuries.

UPDATE: The Welsh Ambulance Service say they were not called to the incident.

Melissa has sent us the below picture, taken before the bus was moved from the road, who said she heard ‘skidding’ jut prior to the crash:

Traffic nearby has been queuing due to the incident.

Another bus has now picked up the passengers from the damaged bus.
