Bike Stolen From Garage Following Early Morning Theft

An appeal for witnesses has bee launched after a thief broke into a garage in Wrexham and stole a mountain bike in the early hours of this morning.

Theft took place from a garage in the Ffordd Llanerch area of Penycae. The incident took place between 3am and 8am on Wednesday 4th May.

The offender has broken into a garage situated in the back garden and stolen a bike from within.

The garage was secured with a padlock over a hasp and staple. The hasp has been snapped off and the lock removed and taken away. The bike was stolen from within.

The bike was described as a ‘Giant’ mountain bike in white and red, with black stickers thereon.

It has a faded red and black seat and a distinctive cut in the handlebar on the right hand side.
