Man Stops Attempted Break-in at Wrexham Hairdressers

An appeal is underway following an attempted break-in at a Wrexham hairdressers, resulting damage to windows of the property.

The incident took place at Inspire Hair Salon on Dodds Lane, Gwersyllt over the weekend when a thief tried to break into the property in the early hours of Saturday morning.

We are told by one member of staff that the attempted break-in took place at 4am on Saturday morning, however a male who lives nearby heard a noise and went outside and stopped the offender.

The window of the front door of the property was smashed, however nothing was stolen due to the offender being stopped. We are told that an attempted break-in also took place at a van parked in the property’s car park.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police confirmed they had a received a call at 2:22pm on Saturday 22nd August reporting a break-in at a hairdressers at Dodds Lane Gwersyllt.

Enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing.
