Fire crews attended Brook Street in the early hours of this morning after a flare was let off inside the Atik venue.

Two fire engines attended the incident after being called at 1:52am, as the club hosted it’s ‘Stranger Things’ Wrexham halloween edition event.

North Wales Fire & Rescue Service have told us this morning there was no ‘fire situation’ at the old Liquid club, recently rebranded as Atik.

They confirmed a ‘flare’ was believed to have been let off inside the venue to cause the issues.

Thankfully there are no injuries reported.

One person told us a full evacuation took place, leaving a few cold upset zombies outside while the club was checked out.
