Arsonists £2000+ Damage At Popular Pick Your Own Farm Shop

A popular family business in Holt has been subject to an arson attack on Monday evening.

Overnight Monday evening to Tuesday morning poly tunnels at Bellis Brothers Farm Shop were targeted.

Bellis Brothers say: “During the evening of Monday 25th July we had two of our table top strawberry tunnels burnt down deliberately. We lost all the strawberries, irrigation, troughs and plastic covers. To repair / replace will cost in the region of £2000.”

Police say the crime was reported the following morning and is being treated as arson.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police via the 101 number, citing reference U110089.

Bellis Brothers added, “We apologise but can no longer offer table top strawberries for Pick Your Own” but do add that it was just table top affected with other Pick Your Own from the fields are open as usual.
