Arrests made and vehicles stopped during motoring crackdown in Chirk and Glyn Ceiriog

North Wales Police last week undertook an operation to crackdown on motorists committing offences in the Chirk and Glyn Ceiriog areas.

As part of the coordinated effort one was was arrested for drug driving and another for possession of cannabis.

Police say that a ticket was also issued to a motorcyclist for a number plate offence and “12
stop checks on off road motorbikes and seven on four heel drive vehicles related to anti-social driving”.

Numerous speed checks were also carried out in Denbigh, Llanrhaedr, Llanfair DC and Glyn Ceiriog, with advice given by police.
