‘Armed police’ in attendance as police seal off address in Pentre Gwyn

Update Tuesday morning: Police have told us they were called just before 6pm to a ‘disturbance’.

There were concerns over a persons safety at an address on Pentre Gwyn, and a 17 year old was also arrested for affray.

A number of police units are attending an address in Pentre Gwyn this evening, just off Abenbury Road.

One resident told us: “Large police presence in Pentre Gwyn, block of flats has been raided and the children’s play park a bit further up from the raided flat has been taped off.

They added: “Armed police have arrived on scene.”
