Are you one of the members of the public who left their litter for others to pick up over the weekend?

The four day Easter weekend saw some of the hottest days of the year so far, with blue skies and temperatures soaring to 22C.

Naturally with such glorious weather, many people have enjoyed picnics, barbecues and general visits to the scenic landscapes just on our doorsteps.

However whilst the majority chose to use nearby bins or take their litter home to dispose of and recycle, a handful of people opted to leave their waste on the floor for others to pick up.

The pictures tweeted this weekend promoted Lead Member for Environment and Transport, Cllr David A Bithell encourage people to continue taking pictures in a bid to shame those who choose to leave their rubbish behind.
