Appeal Launched After Woman Assaulted in Wrexham

An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a woman was assaulted in Wrexham yesterday evening.

The incident happened at about 6:15pm on Thursday August 3 as the woman, in her 20s, was walking along Holt Road, Llan-Y-Pwll, Wrexham, near the former Greddington public house.

She was approached by two men in a black 4×4 vehicle. The front seat passenger got out of the vehicle and grabbed her, but she managed to break free and run off to seek help.

Police say the victim was unharmed, but was shaken by the incident.

North Wales Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in this area at the time to contact them on 101 quoting reference RC17117148.
