Appeal launched after collision on the Wrexham Industrial Estate

North Wales Police have launched appeal for witnesses following a collision on the Wrexham Industrial Estate this morning.

he collision took place on the A534 link road at the roundabout outside JCB by Abenbury Way, Bryn Lane and Ash Road North at around 7:30am.

Police say a red Citroen C2 which had stopped at the give way line, was struck from behind by a black Vauxhall Corsa.

The Corsa initially stopped but then the driver made off after failing to give any details.

A spokesperson for the NWP Roads Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are underway to trace the driver so we are keen to hear from anybody who witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have been in the area and who has dash cam.

“Equally we’re appealing for the driver of the black Vauxhall Corsa to come forward.

“Anybody with information is asked to contact 101 or via the website quoting incident number Y178966.”
