Appeal for information after Brymbo Football Club suffers break in

Brymbo Football Club have appealed for information after their facilities were subject to a break in overnight.

The incident is thought to have taken place last night into the early hours of this morning, with the dressing rooms were broken into.

The club have said, “They smashed their way through our kitchen window hatch and attempted to break the locks off the cupboards once inside.

“They have also broken into the Tennis club and Bowls club.”

The club added that CCTV is being handed to the police, “However, If anyone hears of any information that may help in finding the individual or people responsible then please contact Gareth Lloyd at Brymbo Sports and Social Complex on 01978 752577.”

Information can also be passed direct to police via the 101 number.

Local Councillor Paul Rogers has described the incident as ‘frustrating for all involved’ and said he will be discussing the matter with police.
