Appeal After Fatal Crash In Hanmer

Just before 9pm last night North Wales Police and other emergency services responded to the scene of a road traffic collision on the A539 road in Hanmer, involving a silver Suzuki Alto car and a silver Mini One car.

As a result of the collision the elderly male driver of the Suzuki, from north Shropshire, received fatal injuries and died at the scene and the female driver of the Mini sustained none life changing injuries.

North Wales Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have information to assist this investigation to contact investigating officer PC 450 Aled Jackson at the Roads Policing Unit at Deeside on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
