Harry flew to Peru on 20th February. He was travelling there whilst visiting friends in Pisac, near Coscou. He attended a permaculture course before heading into the jungle with a group. He sent two very positive and happy emails home and seemed to be enjoying his time there.

On 7th April, Harry told friends he wished to spend the day by himself on a mountain. They expected to see him on Sunday 10th, but he didn’t appear. He has not been seen since. Harry’s 29th birthday was on 9th April.

THIS Project’s Dave Gray, who runs Undegun on Regent Street, spoke of Harry’s activities in Wrexham: “Harry has been a studio holder at Undegun for about two years, and has taken part in exhibitions, delivered workshops to teach other artists basic woodworking skills, and has helped out with the running of the gallery, completing projects like our children’s playhouse – Area 31. He’s always ready to help others, and has been a stalwart of our creative community.”

“You can see his amazing craftsmanship on his blog (harrycordergreaves.blogspot.co.uk). He’s been a long time member of Incredible Edible, working extensively on the community garden in Mount Street. He does yoga with various local groups, and has been active in the local anti-fracking movement

“All the staff and studio holders at undegun are shocked to hear of his disappearance and want to send their best wishes to his family and the many friends he has, and we hope for his safe return.”

The appeal notes “Harry does often desire to travel alone and he is very practical, self-reliant and used to outward bound activities. He set out with full travelling kit including tent and sleeping bag. However a thorough search of the area he intended to visit has been made without success.”

Dave added: “Harry is an exceptionally capable and resourceful person, well used to the outdoors. We hope he’s just become temporarily lost out there, and will wander out of the jungle safe and well, although we’re all obviously very concerned for his well-being.”
