Air ambulance called to crash in Johnstown

Update: The road has since reopened, and a person has been taken by air ambulance to Stoke hospital.

Emergency services are in attendance at a road traffic collision in the Johnstown area.

Police say the incident has taken place on Gutter Hill in Johnstown.

As a result the road is expected to be closed for some time and motorists are being urged to avoid the area.

The air ambulance has also landed nearby,
