The A541 near Leeswood Bridge was described as ‘blocked’ by police after a collision late last night.

UPDATE: The road has reopened, and two adults and one child were taken to the Maelor with what have been described as ‘minor injuries’.

Original story below…

Police have said: “Road is blocked due to an incident, police on scene traffic building, please avoid the area.”

One person who was travelling on the road said the incident occurred near to where the road splits to a dual carriageway, just after the turning for Padeswood.

We were told the incident sadly seems serious involving two vehicles, one of which appears to have ‘come on to the dual carriageway the wrong way’.

Emergency services are at the scene, and the road remains blocked off.
