The crash took place between the A5 between the Gledrid Roundabout and A483 Halton Roundabout just before 3pm this afternoon.

The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene, with Oswesty Police tweeting at 4:40pm to confirm the A483 northbound had reopened.

A spokesperson for Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at approximately 3pm this afternoon to reports of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the roundabout connecting the A483 and A5 in Chirk.

“Two women and a young boy have been taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital. Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.”
