A483 delays following collision near Rhostyllen

Update: Good news from the incident, where the person involved has told us they are ok aside from some neck and back pain.

The cause is attributed to lane two traffic suddenly stopping, and then a lorry then crashing into the Ford fiesta.

Motorists are being advised of long delays on the A483 this morning following an incident near Rhostyllen.

There are reports of a two vehicle collision on the A483 northbound, just before the the A525 Junction 4 turnoff.

A lorry and a car have been involved in the incident.

Traffic is currently backing up between Junction 4, past the Rhostyllen roundabout and Junction 2.

We have contacted the Welsh Ambulance Service and are awaiting further information.
