A Christmas Celebration in aid of local hospice returns to Wrexham

A festive and musical celebration in aid of a local hospice will return to Wrexham.

Nightingale House Hospices’ annual ‘A Christmas Celebration’ will ill the William Aston Hall with the sound of music and song on November 23.

Sponsored by DTCC the event will feature performances from renowned Welsh tenor Trystan Llŷr Griffiths, Robert Guy’s enchanting New Sinfonia, Cantorion Sirenian Singers, Rhos Male Voice Choir and Lleisiau’r Afon.

Discussing the ‘Christmas Celebration’ Welsh tenor Trystan Llŷr Griffiths, said: “I’m delighted to be taking part in the Nightingale House Hospice Christmas Concert this year along with our other special guests.

“I hope we can entertain and bring some festive cheer whilst supporting this wonderful charity. Nadolig Llawen!”

Rhos Male Voice Choir has performed at numerous Christmas Concerts over the years for Nightingale House.

A spokesperson for the choir, said: “Côr Meibion Rhos are delighted to be supporting Nightingale House yet again. We always look forward to this event.

“It’s great to have such a lovely evening whilst helping to raise money for this fantastic cause at the same time.”

Event Fundraiser Elise Jackson added: “I am pleased to be moving our annual Christmas Concert to a larger venue this year so that even more people can enjoy this most magical evening.

“It’s the perfect event to get you into the Christmas spirit and raise vital funds for the hospice in this season of giving.”
