70 Year Old Man Charged Over Bank Holiday Crash By Chirk

A man has been arrested and charged after a crash near Chirk on Monday.

The driver of the car, a 70-year-old man was arrested yesterday and has since been charged with careless driving.

The man, who isn’t a resident of the UK, has been bailed to appear before Wrexham Magistrates on May 20th.

The motorcyclist remains in hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.

The incident occurred just before 1pm on Bank Holiday Monday involving two vehicles, and left the road closed for several hours as investigation work took place.
