38 Year Old Local Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Hightown Car Arsons

A local man has been arrested in connection with a series of car arsons in Hightown.

A 38 year old man from Wrexham has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a series of car fires in the Hightown area of Wrexham on Saturday October 24.

On Saturday Wrexham.com reported that seven cars in Hightown had been set alight in the early hours.

Fire crews attended car fires on Stuarts Way just off Norman Road to Waterloo Close just off Stockwell Grove, Waterloo Close, Saxon Street and Hillbury Road all within half an hour of each other.

DCI Neil Harrison said: “The investigation is ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who may have information to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference S162991.”
