Well I’m sure if our councillors use country parks they will pay too, slightly different than a place of work. Unless there’s a secret country park for just councillors and senior officers?

Spot on! Tired of seeing people moaning about their kids will no longer able to do football and become lazy because of parking charges. Am I missing something? If you don’t want to pay car park charges WALK to the country park, it may surprise some that you can walk in the rain too after all they play football in it! My view on this is, if we are lucky to have country parks and I’m driving my air polluting car to one then I’d expect to pay to park it.

That’s where you’re wrong Derek! We get lots of tweets and 3.58% rise in our council tax for North Wales police, very nice of the man. Should cover a few extra bottles of champagne at the next ball 👌🍾🍾🍾🍾
Well said! All self gratification, not seeing much advertisement from them about one of their councillors standing for election in Alun & Desside. So Plaid councillors, the saviours of public money are campaigning in another constituency whilst getting paid by Wrexham council represent the people of Wrexham! Well what a great use of council money! Showing what they really think of Wrexham, just want to be elected anywhere to have more wages funded by the tax payer!
Sportsboy may have a point, I’m sure there will be a lot of activity going on in the pub now one of our very own Plaid councillor is standing for election in Alyn and Deeside! What happened to her commitment to Wrexham? Career position springs to mind.

Meeting webcast. I find it strange that Plaid go on about IPads ect, yet the council are required to use headphones for 1 person who speaks Welsh when he feels like doing so. Surely this comes at a cost? I’m not against Welsh speaking but there’s some hypocrisy when doing it to suit, especially when the tax payer has to fund the bill for equipment to enable translation.[quote quote=142051]Another massive shame that yet another local bus company has gone bust. Did their manifesto cover the budget and how to manage it without making cuts? They’ve tabled at 5 committees but to what use? Just to look good and build their egos. Easy to do when you’re a tiny opposition!

But right here and right now local councillors are just not doing good enough within the means that have been provided to them. So we begin locally on a local platform. I mean how much money was wasted in legal challenges on the Groves site – I believe well over £100,000. That money could have had a boatload of better uses serving the community.[/quote]
And look at the who fought to save the Groves to earn a few extra votes, the same ones who are shouting off about budget cuts! You couldn’t make it up!
