My appointment was for 10.30am, I thought it wouldn’t be so busy. How wrong I was.

True, many countries are better prepared than us for extreme weather.

Just seen on tv that the Jet stream is stuck south of the UK and is due to move north over the next 21 days, which means we are stuck in this rut of cold weather for at least another 3 weeks.

The only point I have to agree with is that Adrian Cieslewicz was Wrexham’s star man on Sunday. dobranoc.

I’ve spent quite a lot of time in Balkan countries, I’m sure I can tell the difference.

They are all clear where I shovelled, no icy patches at all.

Good point, one that my wife mentioned on Sunday, I saw a a bloke outside having trouble getting his car out of the snow, (A Polish bloke as it happened) his wheels kept spinning and spinning. So I said to the bloke, gently let the clutch out and the wheels have a better chance to grip. I got him away in no time. That was when my wife said, “He should be used to snow from Poland”
By the way, he never even said Thank you, whereas as another neighbour was full of praise for me helping him get to work.

When I was in the surgery today I was amazed at all the foreign names coming up for the GP’s, some I wouldn’t be able to pronounce
or even spell. There was more foreigners there than British.
My daughter spent 5 hours in A&E yesterday when she slipped on ice in town, it was full of Polish and Romanian people.

Agreed, I always buy local as much as I can. We have some great markets here with marvelous butchers etc.
