I’ve got to go out 6am, so I’m hoping I don’t have to scrape ice off the car.

A few weeks ago I parked my car in the car park behind Chester street, I’d only been gone about 30 minutes when I got back the windows were smashed and they’d taken a few things from the glove compartment. A guy sitting in a car some 20 yards away heard the bang and waited for me to return. I rang the Police and later that day an officer came to my house and said they had two lads from Liverpool in custody, apparently they’d been living rough in Wrexham.
I haven’t heard a thing from the Police since so I don’t know if they were prosecuted or just let off. In town this morning there was two lads shouting and swearing, they didn’t sound local to me. Why they come here I don’t know, but they do give the town centre a bad name.

Oh no!!! Opened the blinds this morning to see where I’d cleared with the shovel, covered in snow again and it was still snowing.

Just seen live pictures from the Racecourse on BBC Wales tv, they seemed surprised at how much snow we’ve had, the reporter said it was more like being in the French alps.
I sometimes wonder If they know we exist in North Wales, all they seem to show is Cardiff on tv.

Yep, I nearly went a few times in town, the pavements looked wet but it was actually ice.

A quote from Wrexham mayor Ian Roberts says they are considering a special welcome for the team:

“The whole town receives a massive boost when the football club does well and I would like to congratulate everyone involved with the club on this success.

“With the club going strong in the league as well hopefully this will not be the only piece of silverware that comes Wrexham’s way this season.

“Wrexham council is currently considering plans for a celebration event for the club and its supporters.”

I wonder if the team will have some sort of official recognition in town this week.

True, they’ve battled through some horrendous conditions. I saw Police, ambulance and fire services on Mold road this morning after a road accident.
