PonciauParticipantIt seems to me that this Cllr ( kieth Gregory) and Plaid as a party have no aspirations for our beloved town😜

Looks like Wrexham Council rates base for 2014/15 was £965 while in Flintshire it was £988 , that doesn’t include the Police and Community Council precepts. So a Flintshire amalgamation could see us paying even higher rates !,
Glad someone has seen the light

Maybe our local AM’s Lesley Griffiths and Aled Roberts could find out what the plans are for relieving the pressure on A&E at the Maelor Hospital. Am I right is assuming that SOMETHING will be done now we are making national headlines? News at Ten last night and Radio 4 this morning. No mention on Radio Wales News today but that is no surprise.
Have you forgot about Ken Skates?

PonciauParticipantThere are still some stalls available free of charge fine for craft stall or a stall selling to help a local charity call rhos community council 01978840007 if interested
PonciauParticipantsorry for your disappointment but this event is fetching families and neighbours together for a fun experience ,the main objection of this event are the young people and they certainly love it you don’t have to spend a penny if you don’t want to ,we would welcome your input why not come and join us it only takes about 2months to organise and 12 hrs non stop work on the day for no financial reward ! just the the expression of happiness on the children’s faces merry Xmas

To be honest, the Wrexham event sounds really nice. I don’t understand the need for fireworks and the like, this sounds much more traditional and “Christmassy”
The Rhos event on the other hand has become less and less festive as years go by, and whereas there are still some nice stalls selling home made goods, it’s mainly an excuse to sell cheap toys and rides for not so cheap prices.
Wish I could say I would avoid it but chances are someone will have set up a stall right outside my house again (so I literally can’t even leave through my front door) and others will be using my garden as a short cut.
I take you live on market St where most of the evening takes place I see you do not mention the grotto where hundreds of children pay only 50p to see Father Christmas and get a gift as well I suggest you get yourself a black hat with BA HUMBUG on it hope I don’t see you there

If Eagles Meadow has 1000 cars each paying £3.10, they receive £3100. If they increase that to £5, they receive £5000 but they don’t know if they’re going to have less cars.
The problem imagined is can Eagles Meadow take that risk ?A simple reversal of the argument Mr Critchley expressed in Town Centre Forum regarding council car park charges.
Well its up to Vinci, they must feel they can take the risk.
Its up to Wrexham shoppers to prove them wrong and not park there.
Use the council car parks instead and keep the money in the town.I’m wondering why Wrexham Savers are hoping to discuss parking issues outside of Town Centre Forum – do they feel undermined in some way ?
I think people need to get their facts right! Da Vinci are the culprits in this scenario they only lease of Eagles meadow I feel that this increase will only cause the local shops to suffer not only over the festive period but for the forseable future as well rumour has it that Da Vinci want out of their lease therefore the rise if Eagles meadow saw fit to release them it would be a boost for the town
PonciauParticipantDefinitely one for your diary for next year many thanks to the 800+ that attended absolutely first class event at a first class venue!
