With all the commotion about the Proroguing of Parliament and the Supreme Courts statement, it was nothing to do with Brexit…
I wonder what view would have been taken regarding the Proroguing of Parliament under different circumstances.
Say for instance if the Scottish referendum on independence had succeeded and the UK Parliament was holding up the legitimate right of the Scottish people to withdraw from the UK and they were not being allowed to leave because “other parties” thought that they shouldn’t leave, if they didn’t have the right “deal”, (3 Years later).
Which everyone knows of course is a euphemism for not allowing them to leave at all.
Its beyond imagination the outrage the Scots would rightly feel.
Unlikely and bizarre as seems Boris Johnson could have been a Scottish hero!!
To take it one hypothetical step further and substitute Scotland for Wales what would our local MPs position be then ?
That he couldn’t support it, because it was his duty to represent all the people of Wrexham / Wales
