They’re probably spamming other forums throughout the UK in the hope of picking-up business or getting info on prices of local companies.

The other option is to employ a driver to take you down in your own car and return it or, of course, you could get a friend to take you. For insurance purposes you wouldn’t be able to pay them but you could give them a gift. ;)

Don’t you just love it when you catch such an obvious spammer ? LOL

And of course we’ll more Police Officers and / or Enforcement Officers.

Oh, wait a minute though! Our taxes will have to go up to pay for them.

Yes, I fully understand the law. I’m a licenced guard and door supervisor. But, as you’ll see almost daily on the press, it’s often the victim of a crime that gets arrested first for retaliating or using unreasonable force when restraining a suspect. What’s written in law, and what’s fact, are often worlds apart.

You have a good case for restraint if they are inside your home but once they leave the property you are far wiser to allow them to escape. Furthermore, if there are 3 of them, as in the post above, what chance do you think you have of restraining them on or off of the property?

Don’t even think about restraining them. It’s YOU that’ll end up in court.

I agree with you. And, if the national press are to be believed, there’s going to be a huge glut of firewood once the felling of diseased ash trees begins.

When I said look elsewhere I certainly didn’t mean that you should consider moving.

I’m not sure whether you’re under any constraints regarding security on the estate. Do the terms of your lease allow you to bring any other security services onto the estate or are Combined the nominated company ? Have you spoken to the estate managers about your security concerns? Have you spoken to your insurers about your concerns? Have you spoken to other businesses about the possibility of forming a security group ?

I’m a licenced SIA (Security Industry Authority) Guard & Door Supervisor and also a former Logistics Company Owner so I do understand the problems that you’re facing. If you need any help in finding or setting up a security group don’t hesitate to get in touch via PM.

If the Police and Combined Security Services aren’t giving the support or service that you need, then perhaps you and other companies in the same position should look elsewhere?
