Of course, your forward facing camera would reveal you’d entered the road too fast, and neglected to pay attention to the crossing. Tsch. ;)

The crossing at Stevies is appalling. Drivers come off the roundabout at high speed, despite the crossing having beacons. Sod ’em; I’ll walk out and if they get a bit of whiplash from slamming on the breaks, their fault. Drivers really think that the crossing is optional; loads just park up when there’s a queue. You do not stop on a crossing under any circumstances. Unless you live in Wrexham.

The new crossing at Island Green should really be light controlled as well.

Now that I didn’t know. What a silly policy. A journey that usually takes 45 minutes can take up to twice as long with the school kids on.

Whatever is your issue with speed cameras? If you’re sticking to the law, you have nothing to worry about.

I suggest in fact that if you don’t stick to the law, and would prefer to not run the risk of getting caught, perhaps change your ways instead of whinging.

Always remember; a limit is a limit, not a target to beat.

Basically, if you’re going to Chester, it goes into the bypass after the old ATS garage. The shuttle bus takes you to the villages instead.

The school kids shouldn’t be using the service at all, if you ask me. Slows it down for everyone.

Tip for drivers: If you don’t want to be caught speeding, stop being cretinous morons and stop speeding. Honestly. It’s really that simple.

Of course there is a rise in young people speaking welsh; it’s legally had to be taught for twenty years. How many of them use Welsh in day to day life though?

End of the day, if the majority of folk speak either English or Polish, and all speak one of the two, it doesn’t matter if a dead language is included.

And it is a dead language; if you have to enforce its use by act of parliament, it’s dead, or dying at best.

King Street is not a retail area these days, and it’s obvious. Those wishing to regenerate it for that purpose are living in the last; when the main concourse of town has numerous empty units, no retailer with any sense is going to take a smaller, out of date unit even further away from the other shops.

Those that do go out of business, or realise their mistake and relocate.

In many cases, it works out cheaper to build from scratch than refurbish. And trust me, internally, it’s really not pleasant. We always had problems with the water supply, all four floors shared just two kitchens with multiple cookers. It’s not fit for purpose; you could refurb and replumb, but you’d end up sacrificing actual bedrooms to make it work. Pointless.
