BishParticipant
the shop next to Majestic Wine is an electronics shop ,and a Gym is in the old PC World shop on the Central Retail Park.
The store next to Majestic sell kitchens (bkoncepts) and the PC World store is still empty, PureGym have moved into the old Dreams store.
BishParticipantVery poor story from Wrexham.com
The person who posted it on Twitter is a numptie as well. Not only are they speeding themselves but they’re also way too close to the van given weather conditions.
A tip for dashcam vigilantes, if you’re going to post a video like that online make sure your not in the wrong yourself.
BishParticipantYou’re a big boy now so I’m sure you can take it.
BishParticipantThe only point I get is that you’re talking bollocks and you can post all the silly analogies you want. Opinion is one thing but to say the phase that is open is a “building site” is not true. The areas where there is ongoing work are inaccessible to the public.
I don’t know what led you to believe that all the animals had been moved into their new enclosures. As I said we knew what to expect prior to our visit and the Zoo have been quite open about the way Islands is being developed. You paid to visit the Zoo as a whole and it’s your fault if you didn’t know about more about Islands, it appears you were mistaken not mislead.
BishParticipant
but the bits that are open, are basically a footpath thru a building site!!
The part that is open to the public is nothing like a building site. In fact the walk through it was quite nice and they have done a great job of landscaping the area.
BishParticipantThe Zoo have been quite open about Islands and have said “Islands will evolve and grow over the weeks, months and years to come”. They have also been quite informative about the progress of islands via their website and we knew what to expect before our visit.
Not sure where you ended up but to say it was “a mere building site” is simply not true. Yes if you look you can see the ongoing work in the other areas but I thought they have done a good job of the part that is open and when all the animals move in it will be even better. I’m also pleasantly surprised that the river boat trip was free as the old boat trip and monorail incur an additional charge.
BishParticipant
What are you not sure about?
There is one Burger King in Wrexham.
Has the one in Eagles Meadow shut already?
BishParticipantWhat are you not sure about?
BishParticipant
Oh I did there was quite a discussion on it and we were told that on single carriageways where national speed limit signs are in place if there are street lights it is 30. She also said it’s regardless of spacing of the lights that is a myth. Several roads in the area were mentioned including this one and she said they would be 30.
She is wrong, that road is a 60 hence the black and white national speed limit signs ironically attached to the street lights.
BishParticipantEmpty shops are an eyesore without the posters, at least they brighten them up a bit.
