Interesting piece on Radio 4 tonight about HMP Oakwood.
BBC Radio 4 – The Report, Oakwood Prison

Mostly about the inner workings of the prison and nothing negative about the impact on the local area. However, one interesting stat was that an amulance is called approx every day to the prison as they don’t have 24 hr healthcare. So that must have an impact on already overstretched local ambulance trust.
