What’s happening at The Grav??

Hi everyone. I have had a search through previous threads on here but not found what I’m looking for.
Does anyone know what’s been going on in what used to be called The Grav (the old golf course in the Alyn Waters park. I live down Pont Y Capel Lane opposite and have had to deal with all the dirt that’s been left on Llay New Road by the lorries that have been entering the site off Park Road.
I was walking the dog in the area today and couldn’t believe the amount of dirt that’s been deposited where the old golf course used to be.
I can’t remember reading anything about plans to build on that land although I probably just missed it.
I’m just curious as to whether it’s going to be an improvement/extension to the park, or are there going to be houses built on it, or what?

The ongoing work was to remove contaminated soil from the old landfill site and replace it. There does seem to be a lot more tipped than was originally removed.

Oh right. Thanks for the reply. The ground level is definitely a lot higher than it was before.
