    noticed this in Asda today, fancied a chicken leg for tea gone up to £1 from 80p :( suppose got pay for the mp’s expenses some how in these hard times

    Well Tesco now have two signs explaining the addition of VAT at 20% has caused the rise in price of food on the hot counter! Two good buys this week are to be found on the fresh food counters. Legs of Welsh Lamb are half price at £6 per kilo( roughly £3 per pound ) and sides of farmed salmon are £8 per kilo ( roughly £4 per pound). With Christmas just around the corner they may be worth buying to freeze.

    Also Tesco are accepting the Morrison’s £5 of a £40 shop voucher .
