    I am quite astonished how the Council can state there has been a ‘strong response’ to their survey for the future- less than a 1000 means only 0.75% of residents in Wrexham bothered to take part. There are clearly two issues about non engagement — 1) people don’t believe the Council will listen so why bother and 2) It shows they have no idea how to engage with people.
    They would get more responses from sending cold callers to houses or ringing people. It may be democratic (although very flawed) method to conduct a survey it certainly does not give them a mandate to make change.
