If Poyser Street is to be made one way where are the 50 + cars that park on one side of the road going to go– they are residents and teachers — this is beside the caotic parents dropping children off for school.

That road has been like that for years… So why drive along it?

I would hazard a guess that they would park exactly where they do now – Making a road one way doesn’t remove parking spaces. Half of them will just have to face a different direction.

If anything there would be more spaces, since the road would be down to a single lane along its length without there needing to be passing places.

I thought Ruthin Road was going one way the end of April.

The only positive and permanent solution is for the Council to come up with ways of getting people into town without having to use their cars. A good park&ride system would solve all this parking aggro.

They have finally done something about the parking on Ruthin Rd. Double yellow lines which should have been done months ago. It didn’t need to take months of consultation, all it needed was someone to stand there for a couple of minutes to see what the problem was.
