Refresco UK is consulting with workers at its Wrexham site over a possible permanent closure.

The company states that the plant’s “viability” has been “significantly impacted” by a long-term reduction in demand for the small-format beverages produced at the Spectrum Business Park site.

I wonder if the Welsh Government will put together a robust package of support to help safeguard these important jobs?

I don’t see why they should. Refresco are scalpers. This isn’t the first company they’ve taken over, run into the ground, and then closed.
