Hardly a week goes by now without some area of the town having a power cut. What was a rare event now seems to have become a regular one. Is there a common cause? Is the old infrastructure not up to taking the strain of the ever growing number of new houses being built in the town. Lack of new schools , GP practises and the strain on the hospital are visiable consequences of all the new builds, the effect on our electricity supply might be another to add to the list!
